Hardware
Hardware is any electronic device, or components of a device, that is capable of executing computer programmes. As you might have noticed by now – this is not limited to PCs (i.e. laptops and desktop computers). Hardware also includes mobile devices, tablets or even credit card machines.
Using a cooking analogy, you can think of it like this:
- Hardware – is like the utensils. The spoon, the pot, the mixer.
- Programming – is like the recipe, which gives the hardware the instructions of what to do.
