Humans live on Sparta
The dawn of an apocalypse sees robots roaming the Earth freely. These robots – called Soil-Destroyers – eat everything that us humans need to survive.
They’ve eaten much of the Earth’s biomass already (our soil, our plants, our farms), leaving humans and animals an insufficient supply of food.
Humans can’t keep up producing enough farm food to survive. Realising that the entire World is under threat, The Council of the Human Race have come up with a way to reproduce the Earth’s biomass faster.
One of their scientists – Dr. Agro Planti – has built Programme Genesis, a super advanced programme that is able to use images of plants and animals to decode their DNA. The United Nations World Food programme (https://www.wfp.org/) will then be able to use their science lab to recreate the plants and animals that we need to survive.
The only way for Dr Agro Planti’s programme Genesis to work is by building a Linux machine, and creating an image sorting algorithm.
The Soil-Destroyer robots are about to go into hibernation for 3 months. This is your chance to help Dr Agro Planti complete the Genesis programme, grow plant and food samples while the robots go into hibernation. To help them build this machine, we have to understand Linux.
You are requested to assist Dr. Agro Planti’s programme Genesis by helping him build this machine, you have to understand Linux and how it will be useful in building the machine.
First we need to understand all the principles related to Linux to apply our knowledge in rebuilding the Earth’s biomass.
