Techways

In a groundbreaking collaboration aimed at bridging the digital divide, e-learning provider TechWays and leading fintech company Ozow have joined forces to empower Grade 8-9 learners in the Cape Town Metro region with essential digital skills. This partnership is set to transform the educational landscape for underprivileged youth, equipping them with the tools they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

With a shared commitment to making education accessible to all, TechWays and Ozow are launching an initiative that will provide 150 licenses for a comprehensive e-learning program.

This program comprises six courses that cover a range of essential skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency, the basics of Python programming, website development using HTML, game development, and mobile app creation. The goal is to empower learners with the foundational knowledge required to succeed in today’s technology-driven society.

The heart of this initiative lies in its focus on disadvantaged schools within the Cape Town Metro region. Recognizing the challenges faced by these communities, TechWays and Ozow are taking a proactive approach to addressing the digital gap. By offering this diverse set of courses, the partnership aims to not only enhance digital literacy but also inspire a new generation of tech-savvy individuals who can contribute positively to the global digital landscape.

Ozow’s involvement in this project reflects the company’s commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to creating a more inclusive society. In a world where digital skills are becoming increasingly essential, TechWays and Ozow are sowing the seeds of change for a brighter future.

This collaboration is more than just a partnership; it’s a testament to the power of education and technology to create opportunities where they are needed the most. As the program takes root and blossoms, it is bound to leave an indelible mark on the lives of the learners, their families, and the community at large.
