Lists

Making lists is essential when you want to present some information in an organized manner. Lists include numbering or making bullet points. 

List tools can be found on the Home tab, in the paragraph group.

Let’s watch this video to find out how to make a list on your Word document. Note we will use lists in our next exercise.

For Google Users

Watch the video above and note the differences between Google Docs and Microsoft Word below:

  • For selecting different bullets styles or starting or continuing numbering :
    • Go to the Format menu, select bullets and numbering then choose list options
  • For changing the colour of bullets:
    • Click the bullet you want  then change font colour (by clicking text colour option A)
  • You can use numbered and bullet points to make a list
  • You can create your own custom bullet points
