For Schools and Teachers

TechWays is a South African ed-tech platform that helps schools deliver future-ready digital skills—from coding and AI to data analysis, design, and cybersecurity—through curriculum-aligned online courses for Grades 7–9 learners.

Our courses are modular and flexible. They can be delivered as part of your existing Technology, CAT, IT, EMS, or Life Orientation curriculum, or offered as an enrichment or after-school programme.

Not at all. TechWays provides full onboarding, lesson plans, WhatsApp and email support, and live teacher training so that any educator can confidently facilitate the courses—no prior coding or design background required.

Yes. All courses are designed to complement and extend the CAPS Coding and Robotics and Digital Literacy frameworks. We ensure age-appropriate progression and outcomes mapped to real-world skills.

Teachers get access to a dashboard showing learner logins, course progress, completion rates, and performance data—making it easy to monitor engagement and report results.

Learners can access TechWays using any laptop or desktop with a stable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps recommended). Courses work in standard browsers—no software installation required.

Each partner school receives live onboarding, access to a teacher community group, continuous WhatsApp/email support, and the option to join our termly “TechWays Connect” showcase webinars.

Yes. Our AI and Digital Skills courses for teachers are designed to upskill staff and can count towards internal CPD goals.

Pricing starts from R320 per learner per year, with volume discounts for larger cohorts or multi-school partnerships. For funded schools, access can be fully subsidised through partner support.

Schools can book a short demo or consultation to explore course options.

For Funders

TechWays has equipped over 17,000 learners and 500+ teachers across South Africa with practical tech skills, bridging the digital divide and opening income and career pathways.

You can fund a classroom, sponsor a youth cohort, or support a school’s ongoing access to TechWays courses. We provide detailed reporting, impact metrics, and stories that demonstrate measurable change.

We provide evidence-based reports with learner participation data, outcomes, testimonials, and photos. Our NPC, TechWays Foundation, is a registered Section 18A entity, ensuring donations are tax-deductible and fully auditable.

TechWays PTY creates courses for schools and youth that can pay. TechWays Foundation (NPC) partners with donors and sponsors to deliver these programmes to under-resourced schools and youth.

Funders can expect tangible outputs: learner certificates, completed projects (websites, apps, dashboards), and independent school-verified participation data. Long-term outcomes include increased digital confidence, employability, and community upliftment.

TechWays has worked with organisations such as the IEB, Standard Bank Tutuwa, Ozow, Lenovo, Microsoft, IOCO and e4 Consulting—collaborating to expand digital access and prepare South Africa’s youth for the 4IR economy.

Funders can contact info@techways.online to discuss partnership models and reporting frameworks.
